JE Stroker

Post by JAY-929 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 8:21 am

OK, I've read somewhere on Facebook that one guy has a boosted and stroked JE V6 in his 929. He added a DOHC head on his originally-SOHC block and done all kinds of stuff to the motor. This would be more of a convenientg option for people who really CBF with an engine conversion. (Although my dream engine swap would either be a 1UFZE or VH45)

So, my question is: Are there any stroker kits available for JE motors? If so, where? If not.... WTF NOT?!?! hahahaha

Not likely. Unless there is a similar block used in a bigger engine. Bout the best you could do to increase capacity would be a sleeve, huge overbore, and custom pistons.

And THAT would mean more moeny than the motor is worth! :|

Ah well... Would be nice to take a Je motor out to say 3.6L.... or 3.8L. Do the JEs have thick walls?
