Re: HC S1 929 Audio Project
Hahahaa!
The update is that the car is home. The motor is converted completely HOWEVER, coming home from my mates garage cost me a small price... like a $579 fine for not having an unregistered vehicle permit ASWELL as my two other fines (totalling $478), this has come to a halt for now.
That's all for now

Re: HC S1 929 Audio Project
I thought I'd better update this....
I made a router jig for making my life easier on the sub boxes and everything else (will make an aluminium one shortly)
As no one has seen all 6 amps together (namely, the 4 x MRV-1507s together), I decided to size things up the boot (and make sure I wasn't dreaming! haha)
OK... test fit time
I like!!! I modelled the boot this way so I could see roughly what distance I have from the back seat to roughly where the amps are. That happens to be 500mm with a boot height clearance of 360mm (Petrol tank underneath raises the floor 50mm high under the parcel shelf... annoying!) and 845mmm (towers lean into each other... also not a good thing!). So (taking back seat angle into consideration) I have around 5 cubes of space for subs..... PLEEEEEENNTY!
:O What's this???
A 3rd Xmax???
Hmmm.... to 3... or NOT to 3
Oh.... and this here ^^^ holds a very interesting platform I have a brilliant idea for it.
OK... back to everyone else's install I go!!!

Re: HC S1 929 Audio Project
Oh.... and I almost forgot...
with all this amp power in my boot... I'm SURELY going to need one of these in there...
... and will the F407 still fit?
OF COURSE So one Absorbed Power 100Ah battery in the boot and one under the bonnet. This means... isolator needed.
... and I believe that a new alternator will be on the cards (due to an estimated total of 300amps draw at full volume roughly!), so expect some news there.

Re: HC S1 929 Audio Project
Hey mazdabeatz.
This car is currently "sleeping" under construction. Has been off road for a fair bit of time. Had nearly sold it, I have sold ALOT of the gear but I'm possibly looking at a sponsorship setup for this car from a brand in the States. Will keep all informed on the progress.
How did your setup turnout? I'll keep an eye out on a build thread from you

Re: HC S1 929 Audio Project
Oh wow.... half my bloody images have disappeared.
hahaha.
This has since been sold this car, so I'll be updating once I find a new one (which I believe I'll end up grabbing my dad's HC off him)
