Multi-929 Old Goat

As the userid says, old929guy. Been driving either an 88 or 89 HC since 1989. Have owned 6 of them, currently two, both running, both 89's. One has 68,000 miles, the other 158,000. The 158,000 has a failed A/C that I am planning to re-charge and fix any leaks. The 68K broke it's timing belt and one of the idlers. I had to replace a head etc and it's back to 100 miles a day service. The 158K could use some struts and I need to fix the leaky VC and Cam gaskets. Other than that, it does the 100 miles a day on cool days since it has no A/C.
Sound systems in both are broken. I may try to put in an aftermarket in one of them and a junk yard rep'l in the other. Still up in the air about that. One of them is destined to become my son's first ride next year. He's not happy about it. So WALK
Anyway, not much I can't fix on these and even the ones that are gone were all sold, not junked.
I've never done any "enhancements", just try to stay stock and keep them running.
