you're on the money with your info in your profile. It is a HC, its a Series 2 HC with DOHC V6 motor =

its at least late 89. have a look at the build plate on the fire wall, it will have the month and the year of build

Hi, also what does the hold button do on the gear stick? I think mine might be broken but unsure what it does so not sure if it is or not

it supposed to hold a specific gear in and not allow change, use for towing or moving off in slippery surfaces.
1 = 1st gear
2 = 2nd gear
D = Momentary 2nd then 3rd
D = with Hold off = 1>2>3>4
