Re: can you bypass the heating system?

If your bottom hose is cold means the coolant is not entering the engine, have you checked your thermostat? (also make sure you use dual stage, it matters on these cars), check your radiator and pump, clearly you are not getting flow. Pump could fail and not leak.... also seen cheaper pumps wear out...

Re: 92 HD Fuel/Trunk release Problem

Had a look at the HC manual (and that does not even have the fuel filler door), Looked at HD manual (posted on this forum) and noticed that the Boot and Fuel Filler are on the same circuit and fuse, with that its possible that circuitry is fine and what is broken is actual motor that releases the do...

Re: No spark no injector pulse

First off, Welcome :) Glad you figured your problem 1/2 way :) There is no testing for the igniter, replace and test only :( I guess this is the reason i keep 3 or so working units nearby. here is troubleshoot procedure for hard start... http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r274/matsuda9/IMG_0001-1.jpg

If the car running on factory sh...

Re: Sad demise of a much loved vehicle

In many cases you could get your own panel beater to do work cheaper. As I said, if you love the car then buy a wreck and repair it (been there before) i personally think that HB coupes will get some recognition from the crowd out of all the 80s mazdas (wasn't many great hits there bar the 323/famil...

Re: Sad demise of a much loved vehicle

Take the wreck and take payout and get it repaired.

Sadly, the payout is within what these cars are worth now days (unless it is a rotary)

Re: Stolen Bonnet Trim & Intro

Welcome :) The trim probably fell off, it wasn't best of designs. It has bolts that are mountes on skinny U plastic mounts, these snap off and trim goes the way of the dodo. You will bee hard pressed finding solid unit. The one I have saved for the future has a couple of U-s cracked. People tried R-...
