Im with matsuda on the commo v6. Would not waste my time. If you were sold a terrible sounding v6 though, it would only be feasible to put the factory supercharged engine in. With a few mods it could run 13's, but even then thats when it all runs out.

Nah my 929 is sohc and my vl is was making bout the same power but was heaps lighter. 1290kgs vs 1460kgs ( reading off my rego papers ) but that wont matter when i 13bt it haha and the vl would smoke up all day long but i cant seem to get that from the 929.. oh well the 929 is SO much nicer to driv...

I assume the VL was turbo or 5L?

If not, i dont see where the power difference would be assuming yours is the DOHC model?
