Re: Introducing myself - HC 929
It will cost around 8k doing it all yourself. Thats a lot less then you would spend on a slower car, less cool car. That includes purchasing the motor etc. So far i have spend around 11k, but that includes purchase price of car, 2jz front cut, water/air cooler set up, torsen diff, shift kit, single ...

Re: yakuza mazda 929 HC
Awesome looking nine. How much room to you have on the inside with the 9" rim on the rear? Clearance from rim to strut? Im looking to get some steel rims made for the rear and not sure whether to go with a 8" or 9". Im thinking 8" would be more comfortable with a wide tyre? I found this when trying ...

Re: My small history of car ownership
Cheers. Yeah, its an extremely capable car. Yep, made the skid plate up myself. Just some 3mm alloy, that i cut to shape then bent up with a panbrake. Its held the weight of the car a few times, so its plenty strong. I ran a 14.62@92.25mph down the drags a few weeks ago as it looks now, so it gets a...

Cheers mate, yeah the corollas are one of my brothers. An update on the forester. Its now got some driving lights on the bullbar, a home made bash plate, roof basket, some yokohama AT/s tyres and a 2" lift kit. With the all-terrains and roof basket http://i161.photobucket.com/albums/t235/sr20detme/j...

If you are going a full interior makeover with leather, woodgrain, painted dash, new carpet etc (lets face it, if you dont do it right, if wont look good) then i dont really think you need a badge. But if you insisted, i would get the AMATI badge cut and polished in stainless steel and sew it into t...

Not likely. Unless there is a similar block used in a bigger engine. Bout the best you could do to increase capacity would be a sleeve, huge overbore, and custom pistons.

Re: My small history of car ownership
Just thought i would post some pics of my Forester, seeing as though its what i drive everyday. Since buying it i have taken it up the beach, down some very rough rock tracks (not again with lift), taken it to the drags (14.9@90mph) and fitted a SubaXtreme bullbar. http://i161.photobucket.com/albums...
