Post by alpha » Thu Jun 18, 2009 2:28 am

well here is my "project"

so basically i bought this car exactly a year ago, it was FOB so im the first owner, i got it with 53000kms on the clock...

this is what i started with

then i came by these RSR custom made springs and shortened shocks for dirt cheap

and ended up looking like this

and thats pretty much it for now, just got some exhaust tips but nothig special, not worth a pic just yet.
and this is not the end:)
next year i got planned airbags:)
yep im gna bag this baby
but at the moment im going to concentrate on body work, get a few things fixed up etc...
i rarely drive this car these days, maybe every 2 weeks or so...im flat out busy with work so there isnt much time for cruising...

recently i installed new sounds...i got HDD touch screen pioneer 2din head unit and brand new pioneer speakers all around and a nice 600w amp to amplify it for a nice boom boom:)

oh floating nuts are all good, been out for long time and they are legit, it just makes the nut to sit off centre but keeps the wheel nice and tight without stressing out studs.
3 piece, they are custom made ones aswell, they going for dirt cheap too,

even if i get adapters (20mm) i can still fit them in the guards with minimal work eg mild pull on rears and camber:)
im actually scared talking to my wife about it lol:))im so going to get shut down haha

decided to polish out dull hedlights today, they werent really bad but you could tell they were a little dull:)
top one is polished, bottom how it was

both done and mounted

they not cut back so they still not perfect, i will do some wet sand to them later aswell, and then buff em out again.
i just used metal polish, plastic polish, scratch removal, wax
