welcome, you are our first HB-er :)

nice clean interior, and doesn't look like it has rust, good going :)

Manuals, i would try eBay, local car parts store (they might have other then Mazda branded books), Mazda Dealer and finally www.pitstop.net.au.

also engine wise, it is almost the same as 626 (GC)
